by In this lighting Photoshop tutorial, we’ll show you how to create a point effect behind an object in Photoshop. Which will create a backdrop lighting effect for your images.
- Create a blank canvas.
- Add your object image as a new layer.
- We’re going to apply the Lighting Effects filter.
- go to Filter > Render > Lighting Effects and select “Point” from the Style menu.
- Adjust the settings to your liking in the effect properties section, such as Intensity, Ambience and Focus.
All done, you can now add backdrop lighting to your images.
